Technical Assistance:
Discussed with the Director: Changes in biting policy. Where is change in writing. Parent policies in writing. Also discussed getting written documentation and keeping it in the child's file regarding Doctor's notes and when a child may return to childcare.

Comments:
Unannounced inspection was conducted to investigate a complaint related to the following Standards: 490C - Notification of Communicable Disease - Valid 240 A - Confidentiality - Not Valid 180B4 - ability to communicate effectively as applicable to job responsibility - Not Valid In addition, although not Complaint Related, a Violation was given for Standard 420 - Written policies and Procedures. The inspection began at 9:30 and ended at 11:50. Four staff were interviewed and documentation was reviewed regarding illness and parent notification.

Evidence: The Director did not know where there was an online Famiiy Guide that parents were to be directed to. Parents are not being given information to access the Guide. The Guide contains policies and procedures for parent

Complaint related: Yes
Description: Based on interviews with 4 staff it was determined that the parents were not notified of a contagious illness at the Center. Evidence: In November, an Infant was diagnosed with RSV. No one posted a notification to parents.

Plan of Correction: In the future, all communicable disease will be posted on or next to the front door of the Center.
