An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10:30 to 12:30pm. Ratios for all six groups were found in compliance. The children were engaged in center play, including blocks, dramatic play, play dough, and large muscle activities in the big room. One group made muffins and one group made turkeys and headbands. They are all preparing for their big feast next week. Positive staff/child interaction was observed. Records for new staff were reviewed. Currently no medication for children is on site. The outside play area was not checked today because of rain. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 703-479-4709.
