An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today at 2pm. The physical plant, 5 staff files, 4 children's files, caregiver training, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected today. There were 20 children under the supervision of 4 staff. During the inspection, children were observed working on spelling words, reading books, learning about geography, taking naps and listening to storytime. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. The center does not provide lunches, as the children bring this from home daily. The outside areas were not inspected today due to the weather conditions. Should you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
