A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-180-B Description: The vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
The attendance record did not document the departure of each child.Plan of Correction: Changed the attendance record with in/out time.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-B Description: All caregivers shall complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Education.
Caregiver #3 has not completed the Virginia Preservice Training.Plan of Correction: He is working on that and will finish by next week.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Caregivers who work directly with children shall complete, annually, the department's health and safety update course.
Caregivers #1, #2 and #3 had not completed the 2024 health and safety update course.Plan of Correction: Finished and done health and safety.
