Comments:
An unannounced monitor inspection was conducted on 1/19/2016. There were a total of twenty-eight (28) children ages 4 months through 4 years old, the Center Director and ten (10) Staff Members present during the inspection. Children records were reviewed including children medication records. Children were observed during arrival/departure procedures, meals/snacks, group/individual activities, structured/self-initiated activities, rest/nap time and bathroom/hand-washing/diapering procedures. Center does not provide transportation however, medication continues to be administered. Inspection concluded at 2:58 pm. The Risk Assessment and areas of non-compliance were reviewed with the Assistant Director on 1/19/2016.

Description: Based on observations, the Licensee failed to ensure children's hands are washed with soap & running water or disposable wipes before & after eating meals. EVIDENCE: In the 4 year old Classroom, a child was observed eating lunch and upon completion, the child's hands were not washed with soap & water nor disposable wipes.

Plan of Correction: Remind teachers to make sure children are washing their hands before & after eating

Description: Based on observations, the Licensee failed to sanitize tables before and after each use for feeding. EVIDENCE: Four year old child was observed eating lunch & upon completion, table was not sanitized. Repeat Violation

Plan of Correction: Remind teachers to sanitize all tables after eating and if there's a change in staff during this time please inform the teacher if it hasn't been done.
