Today an unannounced renewal study was conducted beginning at 11am. There were 14 children present today with 4 teachers. Children are learning the letter "J' this week. Today they were observed singing songs in circle time, having free play, and preparing for lunch. Violations found at the visit on 1/7/16 are observed as corrected. Bleach water bottles are labeled, cabinets have locks, children's records have been updated with missing information, and staff records have documentation of their education. This inspection, including the exit interview, ended at 12:15pm. Should you have any questions, please call.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: Based on record review, two staff records (#4 and 6) do not have complete required documentation in their file. Evidence: Staff #4 and 6 are missing documentation of a second reference check. Plan of Correction: We will have the second reference write a letter and place it in their files.
