Technical Assistance:
Please continue to follow up with the local fire Marshall's office to ensure a fire inspection is conducted annually and document contacts.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. At the time of entrance the following adult to child ratios were observed: Room A 16 children, ages 3 to 5 years old with 2 staff Room B 15 children, ages 3 to 5 years old with 2 staff The records sample size consisted of 4 children?s records. Staff records are housed off site and will be reviewed at a separate inspection. Children were observed engaged in circle time to include music and movement activities, being red to and group discussion. Children were observed eating lunch which consisted of cheeseburgers with lettuce and tomato on a bun, mixed vegetables, apple slices and milk. Restroom procedures, handwashing, table sanitizing and rest period were also observed. Outdoor activities were not observed due to extreme temperatures. The contact staff stated that the children play outdoors daily in the open grassy field and do not use the outdoor play structure while in care. Medication administration was not observed. However, 3 medications being stored on site for emergency use were reviewed with regard to storage, labeling, written consent and required documentation.
