An unannounced Renewal study was conducted today. All groups are in ratio during the inspection. 4 staff files and 6 children's files were reviewed. All were in compliance. Emergency escape drills, health inspection, fire inspection, accident reports, first aid supplies and emergency supplies are all in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-G Description: Based upon a review of medications, multiple medications have expired authorizations. Evidence: 3 of 4 medications reviewed had expired authorizations. *Child 2 authorizations are expired for: an Epi-pen (2/8/16) and Diphenhydramine. (2/9/16). *Child 3 authorizations are expired for: An Epi-pen (2/6/16) and Benadryl (2/6/16). *Child 4 authorizations are expired for: Teething Tablets (2/17/16). Plan of Correction: I will return the medications to the parents with a blank form to take to the doctor.
