Discussed with the Director preschool Summer Camp.
Unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 9:30 and ending at 11:15. There were 27 children present in two preschool classrooms. Both classrooms had two staff. Children were observed during circle time, learning about the planets and the solar system. Reviewed medication - one medication - documentation complete. Reviewed 3 staff files - see violation notice Reviewed 6 children's files - complete Emergency escape drills and shelter in place drills are to date. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C Description: Based on a review of three staff files, it was determined that 2 staff did not have current TB tests, Evidence: Staff A and Staff B do not have up to date TB tests. Plan of Correction: Both staff will have TB tests within the next two weeks.
Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-1-C Description: Based on a review of three staff records, it was determined that one staff did not have a repeat CPS Check. Evidence: Staff C has a CPS check that expired 2/14. Plan of Correction: CPS check will be sent our this week.
