Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-C Description: Documentation shall be maintained of emergency evacuation drills.
Documentation for emergency evacuation drills were not maintained for the months of January, February, and March.Plan of Correction: Moving forward, the provider will ensure to document all monthly emergency evacuation drills.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-90-C Description: The family day home shall obtain documentation of additional immunizations once every six months for children under the age of two years.
Child #1 did not have documentation of additional immunizations. The last documentation of additional immunizations was dated 02/17/2023, when Child #1 was 12 months old. Child #1 has been in care for 35 months.Plan of Correction: The provider will contact the parent of Child #1 and obtain a copy of the current immunizations. Moving forward, the provider will ensure to obtain current immunizations for all children.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A Description: Caregivers shall obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.
Caregiver #2 obtained 5.5 hours of 16 hours of annual training in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.Plan of Correction: Caregiver #2 will complete 11.5 hours of annual training in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.
