It would be helpful if you could ask for a copy of the most recent fire and health inspection for the school and have it on file.
63 children present with 4 staff during this monitoring visit, the children are busy doing homework, playing with LEGO's, creating wooden sculptures, making paper boats, playing games, coloring , practicing for Lowes island idol and playing silent speedball. Lots of activity going on. Today the children are having tortilla chips and salsa for snack. Interaction between staff and children are observed during the visit. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-D Description: The center failed to conduct an emergency drill for the month of January. Evidence: Based on the review of records and discussion with staff, the center did not conduct a drill in January, the last 6 school days of the month were snow days and the casa program was closed. Plan of Correction: We will have monthly drills, we usually do but missed this one due to the weather.
