Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was made on March 1, 2016 at 10:00 a. m. and concluded at 12:30. The inspector met with staff and Child Day Center standards were reviewed. The following staff-to-child ratios were observed: Three/Four Years: There were nine children with one staff. The children were having free play in the classroom and later observed playing outside on the playground. Four/Five Years: There were 12 children with two staff. The children were engaged in a variety of interest centers which included painting at the easel, blocks, home living, table toys, and books. Later the children and staff were observed playing outside on the playground. Three children records were reviewed. Four staff record reviewed. The center is currently not administering any medications. Conversations were held with all staff and three children. Two classroom observations were conducted.
