Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted March 2, 2016. The on-site visit was from 1:15p.m. to 5:15p.m. On this date, there were one hundred and thirty-five (135) school-aged children in five groups and in the care of ten (10) staff members. Two extra staff members were available to assist if needed. The total enrollment for this session's program was two hundred and four (204) children. There were five new staff members' records reviewed and two staff members' records checked for updates. There were six children's records reviewed and the medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for six children. There were eleven (11) staff members and seven children interviewed. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed during the visit. The theme for the day was Dr. Seuss's Birthday. Items reviewed/observed during the visit included: required posted information, emergency preparedness plan, first aid kit, emergency supplies, snack menu, arrival procedures, transitions, homework time, outdoor play, large motor games in the Arena, free play in the Big Room, hand washing and bathroom procedures, snack, puzzles, table games, and dismissal procedures.
