An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on May 8, 2025 and completed on May 8, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:55 am and ended at 12:30 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 4 children present and 1 caregiver; the point total was 10. The inspector reviewed 1 child?s records and 1 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site on May 8, 2025.
This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, and observations. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-180-A Description: A tuberculosis (TB) screening is required every two years from the last screening. An updated TB screening for Caregiver #1 was not completed and was overdue by two months. Plan of Correction: TB screening will be conducted on May 20, 25
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A Description: The provider shall practice monthly emergency evaucation procedures with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care. Records for emergency drill was last documented 2/05/2025. Plan of Correction: Drill was conducted but forgot to document it. Now record updated.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-140-B-1 Description: The provider shall ensure substitute providers have a high school program completion or the equilvant. Substitute provider was providing care for 4 children. The provider was not at the home during the inspection. Plan of Correction: Substitue provider/helper attended Maacio School.Has knowledge, experience and ability to handle children.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-140-D Description: The provider shall ensure substitute provider record and sign the time of arrivals and departures on each day that the substitute provider works. There was no documentation of substitute provider's time and arrival for the care of children during the inspection. Plan of Correction: SIgn in/out record sheet of subsitute proivder/helper placed on visible place.
