There was 149 children present during the monitoring inspection today. All rooms were in ratio. The children were observed washing hands before lunch time, eating snack and lunch, doing arts and crafts, having centers, having circle time and playing outside. Interaction between staff and children in all the rooms. Center has lots of materials for the children to explore and many different centers for the children. The visit was started at 10:10am and ended at 12:45pm. Please call me at (703)203-8659 if you have any questions regarding this visit. Licensing inspector was accompanied by two trainees.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-G Description: The center failed to label a bottle of spray cleaner. Evidence: A spray bottle in one classroom is not labeled with the content. Plan of Correction: Done during the visit.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-A Description: The center failed to get parents authorization for one medication out of 4 medications checked. Evidence: Reviewed 4 medication, one medication for child A is missing the signature on the authorization. Plan of Correction: We will ask the parent to sign.
