During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Comments:
An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 8/6/25. The on-site inspection began at 1:40 pm and ended at 2:40 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 10 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 25. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 4 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site.
This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A
Description: The emergency evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care.

There were no monthly practiced evacuation drills for June and July 2025.

Plan of Correction: I will remember to conduct and document the drills.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-140-D
Description: A substitute provider shall record and sign the time of arrivals and departures on each day that the substitute provider works.

For four days during the week of July 28, 2025, the substitute provider worked while the provider was not present. There was no record to show the time of arrival and departure for each day the substitute provider worked.

Plan of Correction: We will remember to document the time a substitute provider is present when the provider is not.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A
Description: Caregivers shall obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.

Caregiver #1 had 10 of the required 16 training hours for 2024.
Caregiver #2 had 8.5 of the16 training hours for 2024.
Caregiver # 3 had none of the 16 training hours for 2024.

Plan of Correction: We are working on getting the training hours.
