22VAC40-191 Background Checks (22VAC40-191)
Conducted an unannounced renewal study with the Director, ten staff, and 51 children. The children were napping, eating snack, and having free play during the inspection. The ages of the children range from ten weeks-old through four years-old. Four staff records and seven children's records were reviewed. There were no children on medication today. Staff are current in First Aid and CPR. Three staff are current in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The fire and health inspections are current and up to date. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on a review of seven children's records, one record was incomplete. Evidence: Child A was missing the name, address, and telephone number for one emergency contact. Plan of Correction: The Director stated that she will speak with the parent to update the emergency contact information in the record.
