Before and After Program in conjunction with capacity and another site was discussed.
An unannounced morning inspection was conducted today. Ratios, physical plant, interactions, program, and administration were reviewed. The Inspector also reviewed staff files, children's special care, special procedures, and evacuation plans. The classes were observed and staff were able to answer questions posed to them about the children in care. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-M Description: Based on record review, the center has not ensured that all injury reports contain a plan of action to prevent recurrence. Three reports were reviewed and one report did not contain a preventative measure. Plan of Correction: We will continue to remind staff on completing the document
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-E Description: Based on observation of infant's bottles, the center staff are not ensuring all sets are labeled and dated. The Inspector found two sets of bottles belonging to two different infants that were not labeled and dated. Plan of Correction: We will continue to work with families.
