Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment and current staffing.
The following inspection took place between the hours of 10 am through 1 pm. Today, I met with the Staff of the Goddard School located in Ashburn, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 121 children with 17 staff; good ratios in all 9 rooms. A total of 5 children?s files and 2 new staff files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: diaper changing, hand washing, tummy time, infant feeding, center time within the classroom, large motor play outside on the playground, games, art, learning with the white board, lunch, nap time, and other organized activities. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-B Description: Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (05/24/2016), Child #1, and Child #3 were without a current immunization page dated within the past 6 months. 2. The most current immunization documentation for Child #1 was dated - 08/18/2015. The most current immunization documentation for Child #3 was dated - 08/10/2015. 3. On the date of inspection, based on information on file for both, Child #1 and Child #3 were under the age of two years. Plan of Correction: The parents of both Child #1 and Child #3 will be contacted and updated immunization documentation shall be obtained and placed on file.
