Discussed activities at transition times and possible opportunities in training.
A complaint investigation has been completed today. The Inspector reviewed records, observed classes, reviewed ratios, and interviewed staff regarding ratio and cleaning items allegations. Based upon all of the evidence gathered the perpondernace of evidence did not support the allegation and the complaint has been deemed not valid. However, during the inspection the Inspector did cite violations not included in the original complaint. Please call with questions 703-479-4679.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-B Complaint related: No Description: Based on record review if staff #1, the staff has member has not submitted TB Screening within 21 days of employment. Plan of Correction: She is scheduled for a Screening on July 18. 2016.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-340-D Complaint related: No Description: Based on record review and staff interviews, staff #2 does not meet the qualifications of a lead at this time and is with the children for 1 hour. Evidence: 1. Staff #2 has been present for a year and has education and experience to be promoted but does not have the additional training hours. Plan of Correction: We will immediately start 24 hours of additional training for this staff member as she has demonstrated lead abilities and is on track for promotion.
