Please ensure that any pacifiers that have small stuffed animals attached (wubbanub) are removed immediately from the crib once the infant falls asleep as they are classified as stuffed animals and are not to be in cribs for children under two years of age.
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today. All rooms were in ratio with direct care staff. Observed infant care, (diapering and singing songs as well as a special music visitor), toddlers painting with Fall colors, playing with rattles and toys that shake, transition to playground and walks, center activity times and preparation for lunch. Lunch served today was turkey sloppy joes, vegetables, fruit and a roll. Infant bottles and food from home was labeled with name and date. Emergency drills are current. Medication is on-site with five staff having current Medication Administration Training (MAT) certification. Authorizations for medications are up to date. Interactions with children are positive and encouraging in each classroom. Please sign and date the report and return it to me within 10 calendar days from date of receipt.
