Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection that was conducted today, October 3, 2016. The on-site inspection was conducted from 11:10 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. At the time of arrival there were 73 children in eight classrooms and in the care of 14 staff members. There were two additional staff members available to assist, if needed. The total enrollment for the program was 144 children. There were six staff members' records and six children's records reviewed. There were eight staff members and three children interviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for four children, and diaper ointment and parent authorization forms were reviewed for three children. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed on this date. Lunch was observed to meet the USDA guidelines and consisted of chicken nuggets, mixed veggies, applesauce, and milk. Some items observed and reviewed were: required posted information, emergency supplies, first aid kit, documentation of evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, injury reports, infant care, infant feeding, diapering procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, large motor musical activities, lunch, and nap time.
