Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 6:30 AM and ending at 9:00 AM. There were sixteen children in care ages ranging from five to ten years old. The children were observed during free play and learning Portuguese numbers. The children were also observed eating breakfast which consisted of ham and cheese croissants or cold cereal and milk. Six children's records and two staff records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Four medications were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and determined to be in compliance. The incident and illness reports were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted on September 15, 2016. The most recent shelter in place was conducted on September 14, 2016.
