- Technical Assistance:
We talked about the need to check with the school cafeteria staff for the most recent health inspection report.
Thank you for your assistance during today's unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 3:10 PM to 5:50 PM. Today, there were thirty-four elementary school children supervised after school by four staff. It was reported that twelve children received supervision with two staff before school on this date. A thirteen year old volunteer helped during an art activity time. I viewed program activities, daily routines, equipment, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, snack/menu, posted information, agency inspection reports, insurance, emergency supplies and drill records, four records for children, training for five staff, indoor and outdoor areas. The children enjoyed active play outside. Homework assistance was provided by a teacher in a classroom. Halloween art was on display and today the children made paper black cats with drawings of pumpkins. Staff were observed providing attentive supervision and frequent interactions with children. No violations observed at this time. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
