Discussed the playground Discussed increase in capacity

Comments:
71 children present with 9 classroom staff during this monitoring inspection. Observed the children playing on the playground , having show and tell, reading stories, eating lunch and resting. The center has lots of supplies for the children to explore and different interest areas. Large outdoor play space as well. Lots of interaction between staff and children observed during this visit. Today's lunch was veggie chili, corn bread and apples with milk offered as a drink. Please call me at 703-203-8659 if you have any questions regarding this visit. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B
Description: The center staff failed to lock up hazardous substances. Evidence: Based on the physical plant review, a bottle of rubbing alcohol was found at the sink in the Dolphin room and two bottle of spray cleaner and a can of disinfectant was found in the Tigers room on a shelf above the sink.

Plan of Correction: Rubbing alcohol was removed during the visit, I will discuss locking up cleaners with the staff at the staff meeting
