22VAC40-191 Background Checks (22VAC40-191)
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-12:30pm. There were 25 Primary children (2 1/2 to 5 yrs) directly supervised by 5 staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and eating snack. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 10 calendar days from today.
