Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today, December 9, 2016 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 11:15am and completed approximately 12:40pm. Although all standards were reviewed some could not be determined, as a result of no children present during today's inspection. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. The restroom was inspected with the required supplies present. All rooms of the home used by children were inspected with no hazards found.

The center had the following posted: license, daily schedule, emergency numbers, evacuation maps, previous inspection, and various parent information. These postings are located upon entering the center and in children's classrooms. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with additional supplies found. Annual health and fire inspections were reviewed and found to be current. One child's and two staff records were inspected with the majority of the required information found captured, see attached notice. The following was also inspected: parent agreements, liability insurance, injury prevention plan/updates, playground safety procedures, and other pertinent information.

If you have any questions regarding this inspection, contact the licensing inspector at (804) 662-9771.
