Comments:
Today an unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 2pm. There were 78 children present today with 14 teachers. Children were observed eating snack, having circle time, and preparing to go outside to the playground. Classrooms were decorated with children's artwork. Five children's records, 8 staff records, and 5 children's medications with authorizations were reviewed. Emergency drills are documented and up to date. This inspection, including the exit interview, ended at 3:45pm. Should you have any questions, please call.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B
Description: Based on direct observation, a hazardous substance was not stored in a locked place. Evidence: In the Pre-K boys bathroom, a purple cabinet containing cleaning supplies and pesticides was not locked.

Plan of Correction: This was locked away in the laundry room during the inspection. We will make sure hazardous substances stay locked away from children.
