Inspector discussed: Confidentiality procedures Infant Care Licensing procedure
A complaint investigation was initiated on December 30,2016, ending on January 3, 2017 regarding confidentiality and infant care .. Interviews were conducted, and documentation and procedures were reviewed. There was not a preponderance of evidence to support the allegation regarding confidentiality or infant care . There were 37 children (infants-Syrs.) directly supervised by 7 staff. During inspection(s), children were observed participating in group play and eating snack. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. One non-related violation is identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Complaint related: No Description: Based on inspection of facility, cleaning agents were not kept in a locked place. Evidence: In the 2's room cabinet with cleaning supplies was not locked. In toddler's room a closet with cleaning supplies was open. Plan of Correction: Retrained staff regarding safety procedures in the classroom.
