An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 11:45 AM and ending at 2:00PM. There were sixty-four children in care ages ranging from three to five years old. The three year old classrooms were observed eating lunch which consisted of Salisbury steak, mashed potato and gravy, pears, whole grain roll, and milk. The four year old classrooms were observed cleaning up after lunch and nap time. The pre-kindergarten classroom was observed listening to a story, doing stretching and physical exercise, and preparing for nap. Five children's records and six medications were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight and radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency evacuation drills were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent fire inspection was documented as January 19, 2016. The most recent health inspection was documented as October 19, 2016.
