As discussed, physical examination reports are due thirty days from initial attendance. We talked about issues surrounding staff communication needs when a group is on the playground or in the gym and the other group is in the cafeteria.
Thank you for your assistance during today's unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 4:10 PM to 6:30 PM. Today, there were fifty-three children, ages five through twelve years, with four staff. It was reported that twelve children were supervised by two staff before school. I viewed program activities, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, equipment, posted information, menu, daily routines, emergency supplies and drill records, four records for children, training for four staff, transportation for night care, indoor and outdoor areas. The children enjoyed active play outdoors during the mild weather. They have been working on hand prints for a peace theme. A variety of indoor games, manipulative toys and table activities were available. Homework assistance was provided as needed. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
