Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today beginning at 12pm. 53 children were directly supervised by 4 staff embers. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, evacuation drills, Emergency Preparedness Plan, attendance records, 4 children's files, staff files and medications were reviewed. Required documents were posted. Children were observed eating lunch, reading, playing board games and engaged in art projects. Lunch bags were labeled with names and dates. The site was organized and staff were observed interacting positively with children. There was an abundance of developmentally appropriate materials available for children.
