Discussed procedures to consider when changing locations.
Today an unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted with the Director at Logos Academy . This visit took place in the morning between 10am and 11:50am . There center has 2 classrooms which were observed with a total of 22 children with 5 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed participating in table top activities which involved using primary colored water and mixing them to learn how they make secondary colors. Children also observed decorating their traced full size outline of themselves. A nice transition from one activity to another and cleaning up materials by the children was observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Previous violations found at the last licensing inspection was verified as corrected.
