An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on this date on March 13, 2017. At the time of entrance there were 21 children and 7 staff members present. Additional staff were on site for administrative purposes and program support. The sample size consisted of 3 children's records and 3 staff records. There was 1 medication reviewed as apart of the inspection. Children were observed drawing, reading and during their rest period. The inspection began at approximately 1:15 p.m. and ended at 3:40 p.m. The area of noncompliance is noted on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-40-J Description: Based on documentation review, the licensee did not ensure the injury prevention procedures were updated at least annually based on documentation of injuries and a review of the activities and services. Evidence: During the inspection on March 13, 2017, there was not documentation of an annual upated injury procedure. Plan of Correction: The director will develop the injury plan for 2017.
