An unannounced non mandated inspection subsidy inspection was conducted today between 10:30am and 11:50am. The physical space, vendor and caregiver training certificates, allergy action plans, emergency drills, emergency reunification procedures, children's records and attendance records were reviewed. Required documents were posted. Food service and hazardous substances were discussed. Areas of non-compliance are in the Violation Notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B Description: Based on children's record review, a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction was not present. Evidence: Child #1's record contained information from the parent and physician that the child has a food allergy but there was not a plan in place as to how to manage a reaction. Plan of Correction: THe site director will ask the parent to provide this information.
