Licensing Inspector arrived at 12:00pm and departed at 2:20pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 49 children ages 10 months-5 years in care with 7 staff present. Children were observed during nap. The sample size was 2 staff and 4 children's records.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-F Description: Based on a record review the vendor did not meet the requirement that all staff should have a current CPR and first aid training. Evidence: Five out of 17 staff did not have the required CPR and first aid training. Staff #1 (hired 06/18/04), staff #2 (hired 11/17/16), staff #3 (hired 09/26/16), staff #4 (hired 06/27/16), staff #5 (hired 08/01/16) did not have documentation of having a CPR or First Aid training. Plan of Correction: The CPR and First Aid training for the remaining staff will be completed by April 21st.

Plan of Correction: The owner will add reunification procedures to each emergency scenario and retrain all staff.

Plan of Correction: The owner will add reunification procedures to each emergency scenario and retrain all staff.

Evidence: The center's emergency plans did not include procedures for a potential lock down scenario. Plan of Correction: The owner will add a lock down procedure to the center's emergency plans and will train staff on the new procedure.
