We discussed your procedure for posting children's allergy information. We discussed the procedures for staff interactions with children in their care and attending to individual needs of children during lunch. We discussed the requirements for children's records.
Thank you for your assistance with the monitoring inspection for determining compliance with subsidy requirements that was conducted from 11:15 AM to 3:40 PM. Today, there were one-hundred children, ages five through thirteen years, with nine to eleven staff. I viewed requirements for operational responsibilities, children's information, caregiver training and development, parent notification, nutrition/food service, attendance records, reports, hazardous substances, emergency plans and drills, and allergy plans. There were not any violations at this time. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259

The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K. Eligible child care facilities must be fully licensed, licensed exempt and a VDSS subsidy vendor, or a voluntary registered day home and a VDSS subsidy vendor.
