Emergency Medication was discussed.
Licensing Inspector arrived at 10:10am and departed at 3:30pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 76 children, ages infant - 12 years, in care with 11staff. Children were observed during morning program time, outdoor play, lunch and nap. Field trip and transportation procedures were reviewed for the school age class. The sample size was 19 staff and six children's records.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E-1 Description: Based on record review, the vendor failed to ensure staff maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the age of children in care. Evidence: 1. Two staff lack current certification in CPR. a. Records were reviewed for 19 staff. Plan of Correction: Both staff will obtain updated CPR within the next two weeks.
