An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted today for 10:49am through 3:45pm. There were 49 children present ages 4 months through six years old with ten staff. Children were observed in teacher and self directed activities including floor play, outside play, restroom routines, lunch and nap. Staff and children's records were reviewed.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on policy review and interview the center failed to provide all written required evacuation procedures. Evidence: 1 - The center does not have reunification plan as a part of the center emergency preparedness plan. 2 - Staff 1 stated that the center did not have a written reunification plan. Plan of Correction: Center management is in the process of finalizing the reunification plan. Once the plan is written all staff will be trained in the proper way to carry out the plan.
