Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 1:00 to 2:00pm. Forty three children were present with five staff. Today is a teacher work day, so SACC is operating all day. The children were engaged in self selected activities, playing with their electronic games and making flowers and vases. Medication procedures were reviewed and found in order. Staff with current MAT, first aid and CPR training were on site. The violations cited at the last inspection have been corrected. The exit interview was conducted with the head teacher. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 703-479-4709.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A
Description: Based on observation, it was found that one of the ceiling tiles was missing in one of the SACC rooms, which created an opening in the ceiling from which something could fall through into the room.

Plan of Correction: The ceiling tile will be replaced.
