An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted, on March 23, 2017, in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office, on March 14, 2017, regarding the allegation of staff to children ratio. Interviews were conducted with fourteen staff members and the number of children and staff was counted in each classroom. The information gathered during this investigation supports the allegation. The complaint is determined to be "valid." Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Description: Classroom #2 had nine infants with two staff members. Evidence: Based on observation, on March 23, 2017 from 11:19 a.m. until 11:21 a.m., there were nine infants in Classroom # 2 with two staff members. A third staff person entered the Room # 2 at 11:21 a.m.

Plan of Correction: Staff that are pregnant and at a high risk will have snacks in the room so they do not have to leave to grab something.
