Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection on 04.26.17 in response to a complaint that was received in the licensing office on 04.19.17 regarding allegations in the area of forbidden actions. Interviews were conducted with staff , records were reviewed and observations of the program were made relating to the allegation. The information gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation, so the complaint is determined to be NOT VALID.

Description: Based on interviews, the center failed to ensure cribs were designated and not occupied by more than one child at a time. Evidence: On 04/19/17 staff #2 took her group of toddler children from the playground and used the infant 2 room door to enter the building. As the class walked through the infant 2 room two of the toddler Children #2 and #3 (one from each class) got into a scuffle and hit each other. Staff #1 picked-up child #3 and placed him in child #1's crib to separate the two children from hitting each other.

Plan of Correction: Staff have been retrained on crib useage policies as of 5/1/17. Management will observe daily to ensure that cribs are never occupied by more than one child at a time.
