An annual subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 6:55 a.m. to 8:05 a.m. with the director and one staff. Four staff records were reviewed including staff training and CPR and first aid information. SHSI requirements were reviewed. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B Description: Based on review of documentation, the center did not have documentation of a written allergy care plan for children with a diagnosed food allergy. Evidence: Child #2 and Child #4 have diagnosed peanut allergies and did not have a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction;in the file. Plan of Correction: This information will be requested from the parents today.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on review of documentation, the center did not have a reunification in the Emergency Plan. Evidence: The Emergency Preparedenss plan did not include procedures to address reuniting children with parents or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child. Plan of Correction: The Emergency Plan will be updated by the end of the day.
