An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 5/23/17 from 10:25am - 1:15pm. During the inspection there were 63 children ages six months old to five years old in care with 13 staff. A tour of the facility was conducted and children were observed in a variety of activities in the classroom, eating lunch, and during rest period. Records were reviewed for five children and three staff. Medication, emergency procedures, and emergency supplies were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice, and were discussed during the exit interview.
Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2 Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that the most recent inspection was posted. Evidence 1. The most inspection report (12/7/16) was not posted in the child day center. The inspection report that was posted was from an inspection conducted on 9/20/17. 2. Staff #1 (Program Director) confirmed that the most recent inspection report was not posted and found it in the Licensing binder. Plan of Correction: The facility responded: It was corrected during the inspection. We will ensure that the most recent inspection is always posted.
