An unannounced Annual Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted at the same time and at the conclusion of the Licensing Renewal Inspection. The Inspections began at 3:50 and ended at 5:15. There were 40 children present with 5 staff. Reviewed Emergency Preparedness Plan, Medication and Allergy information - see violation notice. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11 Description: Based on a review of the files and medical information for 5 children who have food allergies and Epipens, it was determined that none of the children had an allergy action plan on file. There was some information on the allergy but no instructions from the physician regarding what the child was allergic to and what steps to take in the event of allergic reaction. Plan of Correction: The SACC office is working on an allergy action plan form that will be given to the parent and the physician to complete.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-1 Description: Based on a review of the Site Emergency Preparedness Plan, it was determined that there were no plans to demonstrate how children will be reunited with their families after evacuation, shelter in place and Lock down. Plan of Correction: The SACC office will work on these procedures and they will be added to the Emergency Preparedness Plan.
