An unannounced subsidy monitoring visit was conducted today from 2:30-3:40. Seventy three children were present with eight staff which is within ratios for supervision. Observed children transitioning from school into the extended day program, attendance, outside play time, hand washing and snack. Snack served today was yogurt and pineapple tidbits. Observed a staff member reading "snack time story". Emergency supplies and drills, written emergency plan with all required components and reunification notice is current. Reviewed four medications at the center for authorizations and storage. Multiple staff have Medication Administration (MAT) certification and all staff have current first aid and CPR, Daily Health Observation and the VA Pre-Service training as required for subsidy participants.
