Technical Assistance:
Discussion of fleshing out the center's reunification procedures with regards to evacuation and shelter-in-place.

A SHSI inspection was conducted for this CDC located in Countryside, Virginia. The inspection was done in unison with the Unannounced Monitoring Inspection performed on this date as well. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-B-3
Description: Based on review, Lockdown procedures were not included within the center's the Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP). Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (06/07/2017), while procedures for many different scenarios were covered within the center's EPP, it did not include procedures for Lockdown. 2. The current EPP was posted on the center bulletin board.

Plan of Correction: The Main Office shall be contacted to inform them that Lockdown procedures should be added to the center's EPP.
