An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted Thursday, June 15, 2017, from approximately 2:00pm until 5:20pm. Present today:
Infants : seven children with two staff - Staff were having frequent positive interactions with the infants. Observations included feeding, floor play and diapering.
Toddlers: seven children with two staff - The children were playing indoors riding small cars and a truck around the classroom.
Two's: thirteen children with two staff - The children were building with bristly blocks, playing dress-up and completing puzzles.
3A - twenty children with two staff - The children were working with various manipulatives. They have planted seeds to grow vegetables and herbs.
3B - seven children with one staff - The children were building with blocks and creating structures with legos.
Pre-K - seventeen children with two staff - The children were completing a color chart, reading books and completing puzzles.
School age - nineteen children with two staff - The children were watching a movie and later played various board games and card games.
PM Snack: crackers and string cheese
A practice evacuation drill was conducted 6/1/17.
Seven children's records, three children's medications and nine staff records were inspected.
