Consultation provided on varying the time of day for the monthly escape drills. Consultation provided on signing children in and out of classrooms so that at any time, the attendance reflects the number of children present.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the director. During the walkthrough there were 62 children present, most were napping with 8 staff providing supervision. For lunch, the children were served pasta with meatballs and marinara sauce, peas, pineapple and milk. There were no children on medication. Five children and four staff files were reviewed today. Arrival time: 12: 50 pm Departure time: 3: 20 pm
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A Description: Based on a review of the most recent fire inspection, it was determined that the fire inspection has not been conducted annually. Evidence: The fire inspection is dated 2/17/16. Plan of Correction: I contacted the Fire Marshal's office and they are scheduled to come out today.
