An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was completed on June 19, 2017. The following ratios were observed: Infants-2:7; Toddlers-1:5; Twos-3:18; Preschool-2:12; Pre-K-2:14; School age-1:14 The children throughout the facility were engaged in activity. The infants were observed playing on the floor, napping and swinging in swings. Children in the toddler through four year old classes were observed playing outside, singing songs, playing with toys, working in learning centers and working with manipulatives. Staff was observed interacting with the children and providing assistance when needed. All areas of the center including classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and playgrounds were inspected. The facility was equipped with manipulatives and supplies and items were available to the children. The following information was reviewed: fire and shelter-in-place drills, liability insurance policy, parent agreements, and staff training information. Medication is administered; medication authorizations were reviewed. Staff is certified in cpr/first aid, daily health screening and MAT. Last documented health inspection: 2/27/17 Last documented fire inspection: 6/19/17 During the inspection, five children's records and five staff records were reviewed. Approximate time on site: 10:08am to 1:40pm
